Recent innovations for a more human and digital health
The healthcare field is undergoing many changes due to recent innovations such as digital healthcare and telemedicine. On this path, it is important that human care is not lost and, on the contrary, is developed.
In this sense, the Queen Silvia Nursing Award has become a driver of more creative innovations and actions or solutions that stimulate social impact and enrich healthcare. The Award is held for the first time in Brazil in 2021 and we will hear from the CEO of Swedish Care International, Sophie Lu-Axelsson about the result that the award has brought around the world so far.
Telemedicine and telehealth in Brazil were basically leveraged by the pandemic and, therefore, it is important to discuss experiences, results, challenges and the pragmatic vision of the short future (2-3 years). We invite the President of the Scientific Council of the Global Summit of Telemedicine and Digital Health and Vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Telemedicine and Telehealth, Dr. Jefferson G. Fernandes, to talk about the recent development in Brazil.
From Sweden Michel Silvestri of the Government eHealth Agency will present the findings of a recent report on how the pandemic has stimulated but also hindered digitization in the area, work with European digital vaccination certificates and the use of health data for primary use and secondary, both for actors in the health area and also for research, innovation and the creation of public policies.
